Taiseer Khatib is an Israeli Arab who lives with his family in Akko, the town where he grew up, on Israel’s Mediterranean coast. His wife, Lana was born in Nablus, a Palestinian city in the West Bank. Israel’s Supreme Court recently decided that Palestinian spouses of Israeli Arabs living in Israel will be banned from settling permanently in the Jewish State.
